It has been snowing like never before these last two days. And the whole of last week was rather gloomy (weather wise, that is). But today we woke up to sunshine and blue sky.
All at once it felt like spring would come, after all (never mind the generous amounts of snow on the ground...) And once again I had a spring in my step.
Our winters are ever so long, and I can't help but feel a little worse for wear. A bit like my poor tulips, that once were fresh and pretty pink.
But the days are lengthening, the sun is shining, and I can just feel it in me bones that spring is on its way.
Can you feel it too...?

Sorry, men nei Mia, ikke helt ennå...dog litt påskestemning idag, fordi solen har tittet frem i Oslo, etter en ukes fravær.
Men, snart litt vårstemning, når jeg returnerer til Italia om 5 dager !

Lovely, gorgeous photos, they really make me smile! I'm sat in the warmth of the sun, in my conservatory I hasten to add, although we have just been for a lovely walk by the river. I can hear the birds, Spring won't be long! :) x

Oh, hang in there, Mia!!! Winter just seems to stretch on and on, doesn't it? I'm saying something so obvious - we know this well - every year, spring takes forever to come! And, every year, spring is like a waking dream!!! Being from the Southern California Coast, where there really isn't a winter, my first spring was an absolute miracle for me. Even though winter tore me up (my first one was really a harsh one - surprised even the locals...) I decided it was worth it because it made spring all the more beautiful! ;) (I know you know all this, though! =D)
Well, we're having sort of a similar experience but we keep having moments of serious thaw and I'm in hopes that spring will be a month early again, like it was last year. That was GREAT! ;)

Love the spring colors in the afghan. Here too we are still buried in snow but the when the sun pops out, there is hope for spring!

like you, we've had a great deal of snow, including a blizzard a week ago (we got over 3 feet of snow in my city in New Hampshire). It's been cold and windy and I think I need to pick up some flowers so I know that spring will come soon! Thank you for sharing yours.

I wish I was feeling it, but it is wicked cold today. I have several more months befor spring. I liked your photos they did warm my heart.
The spring is on its way. The days are much longer than before. Here in Finland we have also still a lot of snow :) Lovley pictures you have taken. I love the colors. It make me warm in my hearth.

Här är rätt mycket snö men visst känner man att det går så sakta mot ljusare tider, det är ju mycket ljusare redan både på morgonen o kvällen! Har också haft o har grå dagar men dom dagar solen visar sig o det droppar från taken känns det helt underbart att vara ute! :)
Nu har vi iallafall hela den härliga våren framför oss!
