Snow. A fair bit of it. That's what we've got. And I do have to admit, it does look rather pretty, all things considered. It is, after all, February, and this is what February is supposed to look like in Norway.
With a bit of sun and blue sky today (only a bit, mind you) I just had to grab my trusty little camera and record the beauty, for posterity, so to speak.
It looks like the snow is here to stay, so I will just have to put any springtime feelings out of my mind for now. And enjoy the snow. Spring will come, though, when it is good and ready. I will just have to wait...

Oh wow Mia, it is beautiful. You captured the beauty of your home and country perfectly. Thanks for another beautiful peak into a faraway land.
Mia.. your photos are stunning! I admit that I do have a bit of "snow envy" for those of you who get to experience the winter wonderland. Here in the United States in the Deep South snow is a rare occurrence and meet with enthusiasm and hysteria! Enjoy the warmth of your lovely cottage. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your world!
So beautiful and bright. I grew up with snowy winters and miss them.
I know, Mia... we had two or three days of VERY warm springlike weather and it jogged my psyche out of winter mode - oops! Then, it turned bitterly, bitterly cold and there is my poor garden - completely exposed!!! Happily, though, we're supposed to get snow on Friday. I think, if we're going to have winter, let's have winter! =/
and, your photos - it is, indeed, very beautiful! So fun to take a peek at your country! =]

So beautiful! We don't get snow like this in NZ, so I'm envious!

Ours is finally melting and I'm enjoying temperatures just above freezing. However your photos are stunning. Thank you for the glimpse into your home.
Blessings,

Mia, you are so right...your snowfall is very pretty. I smiled as I admired your photographs, thinking that the blue sky and blue-shadowed snow outdoors complements your beautiful quilts, crocheting, knitting and chalk painting indoors.
What beauty!
Enjoy being cozy indoors, and best wishes to those chickens, too.

I agree. I hope you have window where you can do handwork (of all the kinds you do) and look outside.
Oh, Mia. I live in southern Texas, in the United States, and here, very very rarely do we ever get snow. Lately even, the temperatures have been in the upper 70s and lower 80s. This is not the winter that I love! I so enjoy your photographs. Thank you for sharing the quiet and peacefulness, and restfulness of winter with me.

Какая красота у вас!
What a blog, so pretty pictures.
I love your blankets and pads, all the beautiful colors.
You have even more snow than we have here in Finland. :)

Yes beautiful, yes SRING will arrive eventually, (still NEEDING those flowers though!) :) x
“There is nothing in the world more beautiful than the forest clothed to its very hollows in snow. It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every spray, every blade of grass, every spire of reed, every intricacy of twig, is clad with radiance.”
William Sharp quotes ((pseud. Fiona MacLeod) Scottish Poet, 1855-1905)
Have a cozy day, penny x
Ha en fin dag!

Take a snowfall, add a blue sky, and a bit of sunshine...it's the perfect winter day. Love the photographs.
Hej Mia,
oooh how nice! this looks so great, when I look at the pictures I'd love to romp there in the snow with my dogs . "Beam me up, Scotty" :)

Superbes photos. Il neige aussi en France. L'hiver s'installe. Bon week end.
Truly beautiful, thank you for sharing Mia. I have never experienced snow. Down the bottom of the South Island N.Z. they have snow. I live in the middle to upper of the North Island, don't get snow, just frosts sometimes in the winter.Shirley
Dear Mia,
You have captured the essence of a beautiful winters day. Simply gorgeous!! Have a great weekend!
Greetings from Elsie in Texas

looks so pretty - we're in the same boat, we got 3 feet (91 meters) Friday and Saturday here in New England. We're still digging out and life is getting back to normal. Like you, I can't wait for spring.
Hej Mia!
Hilsen Rigmor:-)
