Blog worthy...?

Is the season's first bunch of tulips really reason enough not to take as long a beak as intended...? Is it interesting enough to write a blog post about...? All I can say is that I am much touched by your lovely response to my previous entry. Often enough I can't help but feel the stuff I post on this blog of mine is not really blog worthy. But thanks to you lovely lot I shall not harbour these thoughts any longer.

So the very first tulips (notice that they are a different colour than my usual white or pale pink...?) are indeed worthy an entry. Pretty bluey-pinkey tulips, with their promise of spring to come. Even though the days still are dark and oh, so cold, the daylight hours are getting longer by each day. I do try to live in the moment, but can't help but feel joyful about the (slowly) approaching spring.

Thank you for cheering me no end on a dark, cold winter's day. You are truly the best!

I have only just found your beautiful blog, your written word is so lovely to read and your photography is delightful. Would or could that I have such an interesting blog...ah well. So please carry on tulips are indeed worthy as much as anything else, I look forward to popping by and taking inspiration from you, and talking of such I was so taken by one of your throws that it inspired me for my conservatory in the bungalow we have just purchased and for that inspiration I thank you.

Oh.. tulips! I agree, Spring can't come quick enough for me. I'm not a winter person, although it's snowing here right now!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I do miss it when you don't blog. You are living the life that I have dreamed of. A small farm with a lovely garden. If I can't have it, at least I can enjoy yours. Also, when I read your blog I feel a little more connected to my Scandinavian heritage (Swedish). Even when you think what you post is not "worthy", I look forward to it every day (and am sad when you don't post). I do love the pink tulips. I think that they are a nice compliment to the blue that you have in your home. Enjoy the rest of your winter and thanks for the hint of Spring!

Tulipaner er en god grunn til å blogge! De er et ypperlig tema :0)
Vi trenger litt farge og liv, siden fortsatt er mørkt og ikke minst kaldt!

Kos deg foran peisen med koselige prosjekter ♥

Hello Mia
For me, one of the best things about this amazing blogging world is the real sense of community. This, for me, comes from seeing that, no matter where people are in the world, they get pleasure from the same 'small', every day things as me. It creates a sense of connectedness and affirms for me what is really important in life - not money, or huge houses or big cars - but family, friends, lovely food, flowers and appreciating the little things in life that add up to a lot. Your blog epitomises this for me - your beautiful pictures and your lovely 'makes' are one of my bloggy favourites (and I can't tell you how much I enjoy your apple scone every time I make it!) please don't stop doing what you do - you bring a smile my face every time you post.

Oh I so know what you mean! I live in Bergen, and its unusually frosty lately. The dark can make it hard to feel cheerful, but the every approaching spring can lighten the thoughts. Thanks for your lovely post, and I'm jealous of your beautiful home.

Love the tulips!!!
I bought two bunches last week in light pink and dark pink, which was strange for me because I mustly buy white ones.
Every morning when I entered the room they made me smile.

Mia. I know you sometimes think that your everyday things are not worth blogging about, but they are.
And as far as repeating things each year I see it like the seasons, every year we get the same seasons but there are things in them that are the same and still things that are different.

I love your everyday things, the little changes and also the things that repeat themselves.
And I know there are loads of people out there who feel the same.

So carry on blogging the small stuff we love it !!!!!

Best Wishes

Chris Xx

Vilken härlig tulpanbukett, färgerna är ju underbara, jag älskar både blått o rosa! :)

Hi Dortesjs

I am so pleased you enjoy my blog and would like to follow it. Much appreciated ;-)

Unfortunately I am pants at computers and the like, and have no idea how you go about becoming a follower. I do get questions in regards to this matter from time to time, and so far have not been unable to provide the right information (I do have quite a few followers, though, so it must be doable...) Thank you for wanting to, regardless...
