Since my last entry...

July already... has it really been well over four months since my my last entry? And if that really is the case, why come back now...?

I seem to recall that the past winter and early spring were the warmest ever, that we had lovely visitors for Easter, that 30 something lambs were born between early March and late April, that we got 26 two day old chickens before Easter.

I recall visiting the Emerald Isle twice (in May and in June) and that I had a short visit to Finland in June.

I remember April and May were chilly and wet, and that June was the coolest ever (or very nearly, in the least...)

And what do I have to show for it all... not much, really. No blog equals no photos, it seems!

But of course every season, every summer, every month... indeed every day, is different, and definitely worth recording and photographing.

So why did I close my blog back in February? No drama, no tragedy behind it all. Just me thinking enough is enough. After five and a half years what is there really to blog about?

But after having taken some time off I discovered I really miss it. That I really want to record it all. The seasons, the months, the weeks and the days. And what better way to do it than in a blog...?
