Things tend to move forward slowly for me, it seems. Craft wise, I mean. I am always eager to start a new project, often forgetting that I already have several others on the go. But the temptation to start a new one is hard to resist, and more often than not I give in.

As has been the case with my latest crochet. I started it a while back, but lost interest, and left it lying in the basket with the wool. Until the other day, that is, when I once again picked it up and set to work, quite liking what I saw (if I may say so).
Something else (without any comparison) I found lying about the other day, when I emptied the compost bin, were these bulbs. There, under layers of composted garden debris, I discovered them. I have no idea what kind of bulbs they are. And how they ended up in the compost bin is anybody´s guess...
As for my crochet, it is about to come to another halt, as I am running out of wool. Something that was bound to happen, I guess, since I initially started it with wool left over from other projects. But there never is enough left over wool, is there? Not even for a cushion cover...

Ja det er fristende å starte på nye prosjekter. Du får da ferdige dine ser vi jo.
Spennende hva som kommer ut av dine planter.

The good thing about picking up projects again is often that it doesn't take very long to finish them.
And bulbs in the compost - they might be onions! I have found onions sprouting in the bin before . . .

Perhaps a small cushion cover! It's darling! Love the book Winter Solstice, too.
What a lovely, cozy little scene. Winter Solstice is my absolute favorite book...ever! I want to go home now and curl up with it! :)

Sometimes the pace of crafting alters, but I know you'll make progress. You've reminded me to get my copy of Winter Solstice - it's a book I like to reread in the winter time.
Can you find the same yarn again? I love the found bulbs.. I do hope you show us what they are when they bloom. Love your crochet. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Hola Mías creo que todas sufrimos el mismo mal y tenemos varios trabajos empesados pero que entusiasmo cuando lo encontramos vuelve el amor y es muy divertido , me gustan los colores que elegiste un beso.
Oh I too love to start projects, I have several going at once not to mention all the project ideas running around in my head.
You did not talk about the grey blanket, would love to hear about that one, it looks wonderful.
Hi Eileen. Thank you for your lovely comment. What looks like a grey blanket is in fact my grey cardi. I included it in the photos as I like to think that the grey picks up the other grey colours in the crochet. Sorry to disappoint you...
Hope you get to finish the cushion the colours very delicate and lovely, how curious about your bulbs it will be interesting to see what they grow into ,maybe money trees how wonderfull would that be !
Mia, I smiled at the prior comment about the possibility of those bulbs belonging to the onion family. Perhaps?
Anyhow, this has reminded me to get my own paperwhite bulbs going soon.
Your granny squares are such a lovely combination of subtle, cool colors. I am sure that you'll be able to do some sort of backing for a cushion cover by choosing a yarn that's in any of those colors, or a harmonious cousin.
I'm happy to report that today I actually began painting my watercolor Christmas Cards. Just settling on the design and playing around enough to establish the overall color theme gets this project underway. At last.

I was just lamenting to a friend this evening, that I want to do too many things - that I have more than one thing going at the same time.
I guess it's not the worst thing in the world! :)
Beautiful vignettes. I start a lot of books rather than crochet/knitting projects. The unfinished books are many. I've even read the one you have in your photo, lol. I preferred her book called "The Shellseekers" but all of her books give a cosy, homely feeling. I really like the new granny square colours.
Hello Mia!
Love your new granny squares, the chosen colors are lovely.
Kisses from Azores!
