Well into October it is obvious that autumn really is here. Even though the day today was a sunny one, the wind was anything but warm. I have been working in my little studio today, but after a few hours I was chilled to the bone (note to self: turn on the heating).
So I came back into the house, lit the fire, and brewed myself a cup of tea. I am a tea lover, and drink tea first thing in the morning. Followed by several cups throughout the day. Always black tea, drunk with a dash of milk.
But today I tried something different. Herb tea. And not just any herb tea, but Pukka tea. Now there is hardly a kitchen in the whole of blogosphere that does not feature this pretty packaging, including mine. But today was the first time I actually drank it. And I can assure you it will not be the last.
What kind of tea is your favourite...?

Hei Mia
i'm a total tea snob..only black tea leaves in a preheated pot..wait 5 minutes..a stir..a dash of cold milk, pour and drink..which is what i'm doing as i write this..oh..and by the way i like it all on a tray with the milk in a little jug and a porcelain cup and a cosy on the pot too..
I am a tea drinker too and I like black tea with a little milk. I always make my tea in a teapot even if it's just for me :)
Hello Mia,
here in Germany your PUKKA Tea is named YOGI Tea I think. I like it very much because of the spicy taste.
I also like "real" Assam or Darjelling Tea without any milk or sugar very much.
Now the time has come to light a candle and make a fire in the cockle stove ...and of course drinking tea.
Regards from Germany

I love iced tea. But I guess I should start having hot tea too. I usually just have one cup of hot coffee in the morning and that's it for hot drinks. But you've inspired me.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Oh let's see. My usual favorites are Earl Grey, or Lady Grey, either in tea bag or loose form. With milk.
However, I was given an elegant French tea, called Marco Polo, made by the Marriage Freres company. It is lovely.
And...this week as I attempt to banish a bothersome cough, I have been drinking lots of Twining's Lemon and Ginger tea. I think it is helping.
It's chilly enough here in New York to hope that the landlord soon starts heating up the apartment radiators!
Best wishes.
I've never seen that particular tea in my corner of Blogdom. I like a strong English Breakfast tea with milk during the day, and a Stash or Mighty Leaf herbal tea in the evening.
I love tea!!! Any kind...:o) black tea, green tea, white tea, fruit tea, herb tea...:o)))
Nothing better than a cup hot tea!!!
What a good question! It depends, of course, on the occasion and weather. I love chai in winter. I also have a beautiful green tea with rose petals and pistachos. I would generally say any tea - black, green or white - with rose petals.
Herlige bilder! Anbefales! God helg !
You have a VERY lovely blog here!!! It's such a pretty, pretty place - I'll definitely be visiting again!
I love your beautiful blue and yellow autumny table decor. It says 'autumn but with a touch of sunshine'! :-)
I LOVE tea too - I drink WAY to much of it!!! I always have English tea with lots of milk (and a biscuit)!

I love your blog. Are you agree I present it on mine on "a sunday a blog" Thanks ....
And I think we have got the same dog. Is it a barbet ?
Have a good day
P.S. Älskar ditt sommartäcke i ditt förra inlägg1
Hi Mia,
these photos are just magical! The magic of the autumn...
Haven't been here for so long but your pictures are beautiful like always!
Kindest regards,
Marina
i haven't seen that lovely box of tea, it sounds delicious though. your home is so SO pretty, it makes me feel like decorating. i love rooibos (roy bo) tea, after trying it in it's native south africa. it has many health benefits and no tannins so it's never bitter. sometimes i add organic agave to my cup, for a bit of sweetening.
Loevely autumn post ! Love the candle, flower and leaves with that tea, too... :-)
My abolute favorite is "Harmonise" by Pukka Tea, followed by "Magic Dreams" from a firm called Piramide ( http://www.ofc.nl/piramide/nl/home/ )
@DieMitternachtsquilterin : as fas as I know Yogi tea is some quite other brand ( http://www.yogitea.eu/nl/ )
Har faktisk ikke smakt Pukka te. Mine tefavoritter er mangote eller adventste.
Klem
God lørdagskveld go nyyyt søndagen i vente :)
Trevlig helg,
Jenny
I adore chai tea and usually start my day with one. One bit of something sweet in it, often honey.
Your blog is fabulous! Happy Autumn!
Hi Mia, love the autumn leaves in this post. My fav tea is Earl Grey with a lot of milk, but when I am out and about my fav is Starbucks chai latte. I really like the blue quilt on your previous post. Big hugs, Margie.
Peppermint tea is my absolute favorite but lady gray and earl gray are favorites too. At work I drink strong english or irish tea with milk and honey.
What a relaxing sight. I love Chai tea. I need to take time light a candle and relax with a cup of tea. Cheers. ~Heather R.
Chère Mia, since a few days I come on your blog which I discovered thanks to a friend and I like coming to get fresh ideas to me at home virtually! You have a beautiful quality of life and I envy you to live in a frame so wonderful. If I could I shall command(order) you skins of sheeps(muttons) for my room(chamber) but you are so far! I like your house! Your garden is sublime.
Finally I dream very at home and also visit your friends' links!

My favorite tea is PG Tips - it has to be on the strong (but fresh side). I used to be a milk and two lumps of sugar girl but, now...just the black tea, please. I keep my tea bags in small tins - one in the shape of a double decker bus and one in the shape of a red, British telephone booth. I love the ritual!
