What to wear tomorrow? This seems to occupy many an interior blogger´s mind these days. As tomorrow is indeed the big day, the day for us bloggers to shine and glitter... the day for our first ever get-together, arranged by NIB.
When it comes to clothes, I do not tend to glitter and shine... My taste in clothes does reflect my taste in the way I decorate my home. I prefer the same colours; light blues, whites, browns (as in my bb - boring brown - furniture!) and greys, as these simply are the colours I feel most comfortable with.
I love my denim blue jacket, which I wear a lot, just as I love my Ilse Jacobsen rubber boots (I do, after all, live in the countryside). I also love my new white summer tunic (by the same Ilse Jacobsen), but I am not sure that any of these are suitable for a "glitter and shine"-get together.
Speaking of glitter and shine, the only garment that does exactly that is another favourite one, the brown linen tunic, which I wear with white leggings (this is after all Norway, and the summer so far has been anything but warm). So the brown one it is going to be... I think.
Worn with matching brown sandals... unless it rains cats and dogs (like it has done today) and I end up wearing my trusty rubber boots instead. That would really make me glitter and shine, along with the 150 or so other bloggers. One thing is certain, though, the denim jacket comes along, rain or shine (or glitter!) Wish me luck...?

Nydelige klær som kan brukes når det skal være. Og holde seg til de fargene gjør at du kan bruke alt om hverandre.Tøffe sko og støvler.

Den sandfargede kjolen og de skoa, med Denim skjorta utenpå og den fine veska...DU BLIR KNALLFIN!
Gummistøvlene er også veldig fine og egner seg godt til...men ikke mer regn nå....
Kanskje heller tropevarme, og da er den hvite kjolen deilig, ser du har solbrillene klare...Håper du får bruk for dem:)og stråhatten! og så varmt at du helst vil gå barbeint:)

My house is full of colour - yellow and red and blue - but my wardrobe is black, brown and white with some colour in accessories, only.
Oh Mia, I see lovely style and interesting harmonies in all the clothing styles that you have shown us.

My house is full of color, but my style has to do with comfort and I don't worry about the color. So hot here it's just shorts and whatever is coolest.

I am not really sure if my way of dressing resembles my home. Sometimes I wear chique, black, hip or rock chique, other times more fun (polka dots & colourful flowers) or pastels! It depends what mood I am in :-)

Hei - jeg er nok ganske lik både i interiørstil og klesstil jeg også. Elsker rutete og sripete stoffer - dongeri og hvitt. Da blir det gjerne slikt i skapet også. Ha det riktig fint på treffet - ja dere har jo kommet til kveldsarrangementet nå....Hadde veldig lyst til å være med men kan ikke pga jobben min.
Hello Mia, I'm stopping by via Pondside's blog.....to tell you how much I'm loving looking back through the photos of your home and beautiful garden.
Everything looks awesome, and at least with your climate it appears veggies and flowers grow profusely. I'm in the southeast US and we are experiencing a heatwave that has lasted many weeks - 90+ degrees daily and hardly a drop of rain. My own garden is suffering and already the lush green grass has now turned gold even though Summer has just started!
As for your wardrobe - sounds much like mine! I love greys and blues, natural linen and cream shades, with a bit of white on a really hot day. My accessories are flat sandals in pewter and bronze for a little 'glitter', along with my always favorite silver or pewter jewelry - coooool! I do love your brown linen tunic - Scandinavian style is lovely. Yes, guess my wardrobe reflects my decor - love white and grey blue paint, French and Gustavian being my favorite look.
